Geek Chic

13 April 2014 | Written by Maxxum, with contributions by Ally

We had walked by the Geek Chic booth several times thinking it was a table top gaming display booth. But, after noticing the tables themselves, which remind me of the handcrafted wood tables I used to see in German stores, we decided to stop for an interview. Follows our interview:

------------------------------

The tables are very robust, and very well made. When Brenda makes the comment about the tables outlasting their buyer, it wasn't an exaggeration - my family owns pieces like this and it would take a sledgehammer to break them. But, there's also a higher cost involved and this type of furniture attracts a certain kind of buyer. We noticed someone who made a purchase of a 7' table for $4,800 and we asked him about his buy:

These are very interesting pieces and certainly worth a look if you're in the market to buy a serious set of furniture.

End of line.
